Claire Morrical

Hi, I'm Claire! I grew up in Peoria, Illinois and after a little time in Southern Illinois and Central Nebraska, I moved to Princeton to work as a land steward. I'm very fortunate to spend my work days in prairies and wetlands, removing invasive plants, harvesting native seed, and setting the occasional (prescribed) fire. 

When I moved to Princeton, I was so excited to participate in my new community. That's how I connected with Midwest Partners! Now I get to collaborate with other passionate people who are supporting their community and explore how I can do the same.

I'm currently focused on projects connecting people to nature and conservation, and supporting public radio and reliable journalism. Both are rooted in the belief that the more we understand the world and the people around us and engage with conversations about these topics, the better participants we are in our democracy and our community.
