Ideas — Plant. Grow. Share what you know.

It all begins with an idea. Have you ever been walking through town and thought, “I wish someone would do something with that empty lot…” or “It would be nice if we had a program that…” Maybe you were scrolling the internet and came across a neat idea, like this truck-bed garden project in Japan! Well, Midwest Partners is the place to explore that idea.

With experience, enthusiasm, and expertise...

We work with you to bring community projects to life. That means building relations with people who have interests and resources you might need, offering toolkits or resources to help develop your idea, and having expertise in grant writing and program development to help you reach your goals. Our office, located in the B-Store at 701 N. Main is a great place to meet with people who have a stake in the quality of life where we live.

We explore ideas, community strengths, needs, and opportunities to create models for positive community change which can be replicated in other places.

  • We organize and promote networks “from the bottom up” to increase community capacities.

  • We engage stakeholders with complementary abilities, skills, resources, and expertise.

  • We evaluate activities for qualitative and quantitative outcomes and impact; for what participants learn as well as what they do.

How does it work?
